Easy Rider seat on wheels
Danny Venlet::
Bulo
Designer Danny Venlet created a mobile seat, inspired by his personal experiences with uncomfortable seating in waiting areas in airports.
Danny Venlet was born in Victoria (Australia) from Dutch parents. He studied Interior Design at the Sint-Lucas Institute for Architecture and Fine Arts in Brussels.
Back in Australia, Venlet did a number of important projects as an independent designer and interior architect, which attract international attention.
Following his collaboration with Neil Burley in 1988, Venlet enters a partnership with Marc Newson, with whom he worked from 1988 until 1990. Mid 90s Venlet settles back in Belgium. Now he works from his studio in Brussels on projects around the world.
Venlet's work is characterised by its modern and international style and is an interaction between art, installation and function. His objects give a new description to the space in which they are placed. Respectful, but also full of humor.
