British design ... For many people synonymous with the precious china that Hyacinth Bouquet is showing off to keep up appearances in the English countryside. Fortunately, Chris and Andy Vernall from East London thought differently when they founded Vitamin twenty years ago.

Nikolaj Duve and Kasper Meldgaard, who form the design studio Says Who, gain inspiration from the Danish designers of the 1950s and add a contemporary flavour to it.

"In my work as a designer I find inspiration everywhere, but nature is by far my biggest inspiration."

’As a designer, I prefer to work with the products from start to finish, preferably in close cooperation with the companies, so that my ideas are heard, and the resulting product represents the optimal outcome for both parties.’
